WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — Derek Hagar held off hard-charging Hall of Famer Sammy Swindell to complete a sweep of the weekend’s ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints events Saturday at Riverside Int’l Speedway.
Hagar, who also won on Friday night, started fourth and had to hold off a furious charge from Swindell, who started the 25-lap feature in 12th spot.
Swindell finished one spot ahead of his car owner, Dale Howard, who took third. Brad Bowden and Howard Moore completed the top five.
