Dover Picks Up Where He Left Off

GREENWOOD, Neb. — Starting seemingly where he left on in 2012, defending Speedway Motors Midwest Regional Champion Jack Dover used slower traffic to take the Midwest season opener worth $2,500 at the I-80 Speedway Friday night.

Earning the seventh starting position in the night’s 25-lap feature, Dover raced into the lead on lap 21 when race long leader Tyler Drueke slid just far enough out of the groove, in traffic, to allow Dover the pass exiting turn four.

Dover was followed across the line by Tyler Drueke with Wade Nygaard, Kyle Saduder and Jake Martens completing the top five.

The finish:

Jack Dover, Tyler Drueke, Wade Nygaard, Kyle Sauder, Jake Martens, Danny Lasoski, Lucas Wolfe, Stu Snyder, Don Droud Jr., Jason Martin, Gregg Bakker, Cody Ledger, Mark Pace, Derrik Lusk, Jordan Boston, Darren Long, Billy Alley, Jody Rosenboom, Davey Heskin, Jason Danley
