PARK CITY, Kan. — Working the low side of 81 Speedway to perfection, Danny Wood worked past Zach Chappell in the early stages of Saturday’s American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region vs. NCRA feature for his ninth career victory with the Oklahoma-based series.
Taking off from the seventh starting spot, the wily veteran was patient around the bottom of the famed Park City oval, with his run coming just over five laps into the feature.
Andrew Deal worked to second with Zach Chappell slipping to third. Moving up from 13th, Jeremy Campbell landed in fourth with Kyle Clark making up ground from 16th to complete the top five.
