ASCS Wraps Up 2013 In Arizona


QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — The final race of the season for the Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region sprint cars is Saturday at Arizona Speedway.

It will be the 196th and final ASCS-sanctioned sprint car race of the season. It will also be the fourth ASCS Southwest event at the track this season.

Logan Forler has won twice and point leader Rick Ziehl also picked up a victory.

Entering as the 2013 points champion, Ziehl continues to be the name of winged sprint car racing in Arizona with his sixth title in as many years that the Southwest Region has been in existence.

The Saturday date at Arizona Speedway includes pure stocks, modlites and bombers. Races are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
