TULSA, Okla. – Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas, has been added to the ASCS Lone Star and ASCS Sooner Region schedules.
Both tours will visit the track on Aug. 16 for a $3,000-to-win, $500-to-start event known as the Red River Rumble.
The added event brings the weekend to a doubleheader with Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Okla. in action on Saturday, Aug. 17.
The fourth night of ASCS sanctioned competition to land on Monarch Motor Speedway’s schedule this season, the ASCS Red River Rumble on Friday, Aug. 16 joins the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprints on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 ($5,000 to win) as well as the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour on Friday, May 31 ($4,000 to win).
The additional date brings the ASCS Lone Star Region to 18 events, with the first round of competition taking place Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at the 46th Devil’s Bowl Spring Nationals.
Kicking off the season at I-30 Speedway on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products will be in action 21 times this season.
