TULSA, Okla. — With dates still in the works, the first 17 confirmed dates for the 2014 ASCS Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region have been announced.
The region’s sixth season of competition begins with the 41st Spring Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, Mesquite Texas, on March 21-22.
Eight facilities in Texas and Oklahoma will play host to the ASCS Lone Star Region with the Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas, joining the schedule for the first time Aug. 22.
Terry Mattox, who took over the American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region in 2013, will also head the Lone Star Region this season.
Both schedules will working in conjunction with each other, once again giving drivers in both regions the chance to win duel championships.
Two dates remain to be filled with TBA dates in May and September.
