SOUTHLAKE, Texas – Midwest Aston Martin dealership Lake Forest Sportscars will be the title sponsor for the SVRA’s Spring Vintage Festival, scheduled for May 14-17 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis.
The Lake Forest Sportscars Spring Vintage Festival is expected to attract more than 250 race cars, representing some of the greatest vintage racing marques in the world.
“We’ve been considering this for a few years as we have watched vintage racing develop into a target rich environment for our business. What better group of prospects could you have than several hundred participants who are spending large sums of money on cars that can’t be driven on the street? Plus, as an added bonus, there are thousands of paying spectators who love cars. Since we are participants in vintage racing, this is a seamless expansion of our existing involvement,” said Rick Mancuso, president of Lake Forest Sportscars. “Add in the opportunity to sponsor this SVRA event at Road America, our favorite track in the world, and the package is irresistible. The Lake Forest Sportscars Spring Vintage Festival with SVRA is already creating a buzz with our staff and existing clients, and its five months away.. Providing unique experiences for our existing Aston owners and developing a data base of qualified new prospects is as good as it gets. And all in one weekend.”
Lake Forest Sportscars will create a highly focused, Aston Martin lifestyle experience during the weekend that includes centralized paddock for current Aston owners plus an on track touring in their Aston, new and pre-owned Aston display, on-site product presentation and technical staff, exquisite five-star catering each day, exclusive Aston catered dinner and wine sampling at the track and in the pit area, on-site video recording, and availability of immediate demonstration rides in the local area.
“Bringing Lake Forest Sportscars, and the Aston Martin lifestyle experience, to a vintage race event provides tremendous value and impact,” said SVRA President and CEO Tony Parella. “Integrating and focusing on a great racing marque and luxury brand during a vintage race weekend enhances the scale and relevance of our event, as well as allowing Rick and his team to meet and engage with customers. The demographics of our vintage community are a very good match for their marketing objectives.”
