INDIANAPOLIS — The Toyota GR Cup Series travels to the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the final rounds of the inaugural season this weekend.
Thirty-two drivers are set to tackle the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course, including James Klimas (Skip Barber Racing) and Giovanni Ruggiero (Nitro Motorsports), who will be making their GR Cup debuts in the season finale.
In the previous event at Sebring Int’l Raceway, championship points leader Tyler Gonzalez (Copeland Motorsports) extended his lead by sweeping the top step of the podium in both races.
Jordan RickSegrini (BSI Racing) and Gresham Wagner (TechSport Racing) each claimed a podium spot in race one, while Wagner and Corey Heim (Nitro Motorsports) closed out the weekend with a podium finish in race two.
What to Expect
On-track action will kick off with two practice sessions on Thursday to get the field dialed in for the weekend ahead.
Racing action begins on Friday with a make-up race from the Music City Grand Prix at 9:35 a.m ET. The final two rounds of the season will be completed as scheduled on Saturday and Sunday with Race 1 at 9:35 a.m. ET Saturday and Sunday’s race at 11:55 a.m. Sunday.

Fans will also have an opportunity to meet all the GR Cup Series drivers on Saturday, Oct. 7, during a 30-minute autograph session hosted at the Pagoda Plaza. The autograph session will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET.
