ALTON, Va. – Andrea Caldarelli and Jordan Pepper drove the No. 3 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 to the overall and Pro victories during Saturday’s Fanatec GT World Challenge America event at Virginia Int’l Raceway.
The DXDT Racing pair of Erin Vogel and Michael Cooper captured the ProAm class win after finishing third overall. The No. 61 AF Corse Ferrari team of Jean-Claude Saada and Conrad Grunewald topped the Am class.
The battle for the overall victory intensified following pit stops, with Mikael Grenier in the No. 33 Winward car in front ahead of Pepper in the No. 3 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini, with Robby Foley in the No. 96 BMW F13 M6 GT3 sitting in third.
The No. 33 Winward car was issued a drive-through penalty that the team would serve in lap 28, which handed the lead to Pepper and K-PAX Racing. Pepper would lead the rest of the way to claim the checkered flag.
