Hanley Confirmed For United Autosports Return

Ben Hanley, Rolex 24 at Daytona and Le Mans race winner, will race the No. 22 United Autosports ORECA 07 in next season’s European Le Mans Series, subject to confirmation of entries by the ACO, the team announced Monday morning.

The 39-year-old British driver has a successful track record in ELMS with 12 podiums, including two race victories, and five pole positions to date – the most recent of which was with United Autosports at the 2024 4 Hours of Barcelona.

The upcoming season will mark both United Autosports and Hanley’s tenth year in the European series – and his second ELMS season with the team.

“I’m very happy to be back for another year,” Hanley said, “and really looking forward to getting back on track. In 2024, we started strong in ELMS, but we had a tricky end to the championship and didn’t end up where we deserved … so we are all determined to put that right in 2025.”

In addition to his 2024 ELMS program with United Autosports, Hanley also raced with the Anglo-American team in the WeatherTech IMSA SportsCar Championship, taking victory at the IMSA SportsCar Weekend with co-driver Ben Keating.

Earlier in the day, the team revealed its lineup for the No. 21 in the LMP2 Pro/Am class, featuring Daniel Schneider, Oliver Jarvis and Marino Sato.
