Miller, Taylor Set For Unitronic-JDC Miller

Chris Miller and Mikey Taylor will be returning to Unitronic-JDC Miller Motorsports to pilot the No. 17 Audi RS 3 LMS TCR SEQ for the duration of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.

“I’m so happy that we could continue with Unitronic, JDC-Miller Motorsports, and most of the other partners and foundation that we built last year,” Miller said. “2021 was a season of highs and lows but I think we proved that we have all the pieces to win a championship. Mikey and I developed great chemistry last year and I know we will be tough to beat. The team has been working so hard this off-season and I can’t wait to get going in a few weeks at the ROAR.”

An excited Mikey Taylor said, “I’m so excited to get going with the Unitronic JDC-Miller squad at Daytona and get another full season started. We had a lot of opportunities last year with two wins, two pole positions and several top-fives but unfortunately we also had some really bad races. We’ve made some adjustments in the off season, and I know the guys have been working hard to give us the best possible chance to succeed. It’s great to have continuity within the team for another season with our driver lineup, crew and partners.”

Unitronic is a Canadian-based company best known for engineering industry-leading aftermarket performance enhancing software and hardware products for Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, and Lamborghini vehicles.

“The 2021 season was full of potential — the No. 17 was at the sharp end of just about every session throughout the entire season, thanks to the JDC-Miller Motorsports team, but ultimately we were dealt a multitude of different reliability issues that disrupted our goal to win a championship,” said John Staffi, Technical Director at Unitronic. “Despite these pains, the team still managed two thrilling race victories (tied for most in class), two poles and five top-five finishes. We learned a lot about the car, which will help us immensely this season.

“The car is fast and clearly showed it could compete for a championship. More importantly, motorsports aided our business in opening doors to many relationships that we formed in 2021 and look forward to fostering these relationships and creating many more for the long term.”
