Westbrook Leads With Less Than Three Hours Left

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – With roughly two-and-a-half hours left in the 60th Rolex 24, Richard Westbrook and JDC Miller MotorSports No. 5 Cadillac DPi leads the field at Daytona International Speedway.

Westbrook cycled to the lead after routine green flag stops and a driver change with 2 hours and 45 minutes left.

Westbrook leads Filipe Albuquerque in Wayne Taylor Racing’s No. 10 Acura DPi by about 15 seconds. Mike Conway is third in Whelen Engineering Racing’s No. 31 Cadillac. Tom Blomqvist is fourth in Meyer Shank Racing W/Curb-Agajanian’s No. 60 Acura.

The race has been caution free since around 7 a.m. ET. There were minor incidents that didn’t bring out the yellow flag, including Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 Ally car spinning during his out lap following a pit stop.

In the LMP2 class, Colton Herta leads in DragonSpeed USA’s No. 81 by a comfortable 27-second margin. He is fifth overall.

Felipa Fraga in Riley Motorsports’ No. 74 leads the LMP3 class and is the only car in the class on the lead lap.

Four cars remain on the lead lap in the GTD PRO class, where Dennis Olsen in KCMG’s No. 2 car holds a narrow over Matt Campbell in Pfaff Motorsports’s No. 9 car.

In the GT Daytona class, only two cars remain on the lead lap. Zacharie Robichon in Wright Motorsports’ No. 16 has a 45-second lead.
