DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona Int’l Speedway will host the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s season opening, twice-around-the-clock Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 25 – 26, the track announced today.
“Coming off the back of announcing the 2025 Daytona 500 date, we couldn’t think of a better opportunity to reveal the dates for the Rolex 24 At Daytona,” said Daytona Int’l Speedway President Frank Kelleher. “The Rolex is one of our biggest and most unforgettable events we host at The World Center of Racing, and we look forward to welcoming our fans from around the globe back in January of 2025.”
The full event weekend will begin on Jan. 23 and feature the Michelin Pilot Challenge season opening BMW M Endurance Challenge on Jan. 24, as well as various practice and qualifying sessions throughout the multi-day event. The weekend will conclude with the historic Rolex 24, where drivers and cars from four different classes will tackle the 3.56-mile road course under both sunshine and stars.
The Roar Before the Rolex 24 will once again take place the weekend prior on Jan. 17–19. The nail-biting practice and testing weekend gives drivers and teams the chance to prepare their cutting-edge machines, allowing fans a first look at the new-for-2025 machinery as drivers take top-speed laps around the track before the big race the following weekend.
The 2024 Rolex 24 At Daytona was a history-making event, with the World Center of Racing welcoming a record-setting crowd for the 62nd running of North America’s Most Prestigious Sports Car Race.
Attendance for the Roar Before the Rolex 24 also reached new heights, with fans from different corners of the world flocking to Daytona International Speedway during both race weekends.
