DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The 2012 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season marked a breakthrough year for Spirit of Daytona Racing, and the Daytona Beach-based organization is looking forward to opening the 2013 Rolex Series campaign with a strong result in the 51st anniversary Rolex 24 At Daytona Jan. 26-27.
Spirit of Daytona Racing will be boosted in that effort as the team has announced that VISIT FLORIDA has joined the team as the primary sponsor for the season-opening event. The No. 90 VISITFLORIDA.com Chevrolet Corvette DP will be driven by full-season pilots Ricky Taylor and Richard Westbrook, with Antonio Garcia and Oliver Gavin joining the squad for the 24 as the team looks to return to Daytona’s Victory Lane.
