Roger Miller, 45


Roger Miller, son of former Utah Jazz owner and Miller Motorsports Park creator Larry H. Miller died on Sunday at age 45.

A cause of death has not been released for Miller, who competed in Saturday’s Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race at Kansas Speedway.

Miller co-drove with Ian James in a Ford Mustang fielded by Dempsey Racing.

“Roger was a gentle soul and he will be missed,” his brother, Greg Miller, said in a statement.

Roger Miller worked for his father’s company for 28 years. Larry Miller preceded his son in death in 2009.
