MARIETTA, Ga. – GTSport Racing and RESET-MD by BACAS have announced a strategic partnership for the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge racing series with RESET-MD named as the primary sponsor of the two-car, two-driver team.
RESET-MD, a sports-injury program designed to maintain elite athletes at peak performance season over season for longevity in their careers, has never before been involved with automotive racing and the company has selected the GTSport Racing team to bring them into the motorsports market.
RESET-MD’s team of medical experts specializes in identifying the root cause(s) of pain and eliminating them at the source. Given that the RESET-MD team repairs injuries and restores function, the innovative service is a perfect match for drivers, pit crew members and spectators alike who may suffer from pain or injury.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have GTSport Racing associated with RESET-MD. I know RESET-MD by BACAS has a lot to offer the motorsports community and we are proud to carry their brand and message,” stated GTSport team driver Jack Baldwin. “RESET-MD offers a high tech solution and modern methods for treating what ails you. What better way to introduce these advanced medical techniques than through fast paced, high tech motorsports.”
Baldwin, a racing veteran and the 2013 Pirelli World Challenge GTS class second-place championship finisher, will campaign his No. 73 RESET-MD Porsche Cayman S in the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge alongside fellow GTSport Racing driver Buz McCall. McCall finished 14th overall in the GTS class in 2013, and will return for his second PWC season to pilot the No. 72 RESET-MD Porsche Cayman S. Both cars will debut new RESET-MD liveries at the St. Petersburg season opener race on March 28-30.
In addition to RESET-MD, key GTSport Racing partners Motul and StopTech will continue their support of the team with their superior products of in 2014.
“We have used Motul lubricants and StopTech brakes by choice for the last few seasons of very hard competition and they have proven themselves to perform above our high standards in every way,” Baldwin said. “We are very proud to have them as technical partners.”
Furthermore, for the third year in a row, GTSport Racing and Goldcrest Motorsports will continue their very successful alliance.
