IRWINDALE, Calif. – LoanMart has become one of the first sponsors to sign-on with the newly-rejuvenated Irwindale Event Center.

The fast-growing Los Angeles-based loan company’s corporate presence will be a seen on both the Irwindale Speedway oval track and the facility’s NHRA Irwindale Dragstrip.

“We met with Colby Estes (LoanMart’s Director of Marketing) two days ago and had an instant rapport,” said Jim Cohan, the President of 211 Entertainment Company, whose company now holds the master lease on the multi-purpose Irwindale property. “LoanMart told us that they were pleased to be able to associate with Irwindale and that they had been waiting to hear that we were back in the oval track racing business. We announced that late Monday night and we were sitting in our conference room in Irwindale with Mister Estes on Thursday at noon.”

LoanMart’s premier “official product” sponsorship participation at Irwindale will include all the traditional items including billboards, banners, website presence and program ads, but it will range much farther including the use of one of the track’s 12 Skybox Suites for each of the track’s 2013 races on its famous half-mile oval. Other aspects of the package include direct product activation with fans on site, and the ability to use the facility for the filming of commercials and non-racing public events.

LoanMart will also have a strong presence on Irwindale’s eighth-mile NHRA-sanctioned drag strip that features weekly “Thursday Night Thunder Events” where fans can watch “up close and personal” and everyone (with a valid driver’s license) from top pros to first-timers are all able to take a shot at the starting lights and the timing clocks.
