CHICO, Calif. – Justyn Cox took the lead on the opening circuit and never looked back en route to winning Friday’s Silver Cup opener for 360 sprint cars at Silver Dollar Speedway.
Cox led every lap during the 40-lap feature, beating Sean Becker to the finish line by nearly 1.5 seconds to collect the checkered flag.
Shane Golobic was third, followed closely by Chase Majdic and Blake Carrick.
Heats were won by John Michael Bunch, Tanner Carrick, Becker and Majdic. Blake Carrick won the B Main.
Ryan Winter won the companion 20-lap dwarf car feature.
