LAS VEGAS – Jay Beasley now is two-for-two in the NASCAR Super Late Model division at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Opening-night winner Beasley started the 50-lap feature on the pole and led the first 18 laps until Haase passed him on lap 19. While Haase and Beasley battled for the lead, defending champion Scoitt Gafforini was in hot pursuit, turning some of the fastest laps of the race. Gafforini, driving a 16-year-old car, caught the lead duo on lap 37. Beasley and Haase made contact on lap 43 and nearly spun in turn four. Beasley made his move on Haase on lap 46, driving under him in turn three to resume command. Beasley went on to win his second consecutive Bullring NASCAR Super Late Model feature of the year. Haase was scored in second place and Romain Thievin of Paris, France, finished third, after passing Gafforini with three laps remaining. Gafforini and Joe Deguevara completed the top five.
Defending NASCAR Super Stock champion James Wingard won his first feature of 2013. Kayli Barker finished second in the 30-lap finale and Kolleen Dresser was third. Barbara Borkowski and Marty Deluca completed the top five.
Nathan Boss scored his first-ever Bullring NASCAR Bomber feature tonight, holding off Pete Meyer at the checkered flag. Michael Greve finished third.
Ian Anderson led every lap of the USLCI Thunder Car feature. Shaun Polack finished second and Chris Bosley was third.
The 30-lap USLCI Legend Cars feature was won by Clayton Weatherman. Chris Trickle finished second and Peyton Saxton was third. J. Avila Jr. and Christian Warren completed the top five.
Kailey Boersma won her second consecutive 12-lap IAPMO Silver Star Plumbing PHCC Bandolero Outlaw feature of the young 2013 season. Ryan Vargas finished second and Sam Jacks was third.
Gianna Marretti won the 12-lap IAPMO Silver Star Plumbing PHCC Bandolero Bandit feature over Dezel West and Mason Sargent.
Bryant Dawson led every lap of the USAC Ignite Midget Series feature. Jerid Blondell was second and Michael Fanelli finished third.
