CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NeSmith Racing officials have announced the signing of two new tracks for the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series in 2014 while two other tracks are teaming up under NeSmith Racing sanction.

Smokey Harris Speedway in Haleburg, Ala., has signed on with the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series for late models and the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies for the 2014 season. Arkadelphia Speedway in Bremen, Ala., has also joined the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series. The track will also host a NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division event during the 2014 season.

Camden Speedway in Camden, Tenn., will team up with Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tenn., for the 2014 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season. The two tracks will work together by alternating Saturday nights and racing for a combined point fund.

“When two tracks work together, everybody wins and makes money,” Clayhill Motorsports Promoter Dale Nelson said. “When Camden Speedway officials and myself began talking about combining our racing seasons, I strongly suggested they sanction their Late Models with the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series. We’ve been with them for two years at Clayhill Motorsports, and it has definitely been an asset.”

Drivers in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division will compete for both for track point funds and a National point fund against drivers at other NeSmith Racing sanctioned track throughout the Southeast.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series features a $20,000 National point fund that pays $10,000 to the National Champion. The NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies has a $5,000 National point fund that pays $2,000 to the National Champion.
