Michael Page Controls Senoia Late Model Run

SENOIA, Ga. – Michael Page dominated Thursday’s 40-lap DirtonDirt.com Shootout at Senoia Raceway to earn a $5,000 payday.

Page started from the pole after winning the dash, which saw him use a slide job on the last lap to pass 2015 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series champion Shane Clanton.

The duo shared the front row for the feature, with Page pulling away from Clanton during the initial start and three additional restarts. The three cautions all came between laps 24 and 26, with the worst being a multi-car pileup on lap 26.

Page weathered the storm during each restart, not allowing Clanton or any of his other pursuers to get close enough to challenge for the race win. At the checkered flag Page finished 1.297 seconds ahead of Clanton to take home the $5,000 victory.

Clanton settled for second, followed by Kyle Bronson, Brandon Overton and Dalton Cook.

Asphalt late model star Bubba Pollard won the companion crate late model feature. His grandfather, Hence Pollard, built Senoia Raceway.
