PELETIER, N.C. – Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway is set for 17 events throughout the upcoming season of racing.
The highlights of the schedule include the INEX Legends Asphalt Nationals on Oct. 19, the CARS Response Energy Tour on July 13, the $10,000-to-win Solid Rock Carriers 150 on Aug. 10 and the Carolina Mini-Stock Challenge on Nov. 16.
The season will commence on Saturday, March 30 with a $5,000-to-win late model race. In addition to late models, the season opener will feature racing for Street Stocks, Mini-Stocks, U-CARs, Legends, Mini Cups and Champ Karts. The race will have a 2pm start time.
The season continues on April 13 with a race headlined by Street Stocks. Events will also take place on April 27, May 11, May 26, June 8, June 22, July 6, July 27, Sept. 1, Sept. 21, Oct. 5 and Nov. 2.
In addition to the CARS Tour and Legends Nationals, the Virginia Mini Cups will make their first appearance at Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway on Saturday, July 27. The East Coast Flathead Fords will compete on Saturday, April 13 and September 21 while the Southern Ground Pounders will make appearances on May 26 and Nov. 2. Super Trucks will headline racing on Oct. 5. Other touring series races may be added to the schedule in the weeks ahead.
