New Promoter, Busy Schedule For TMS Dirt Track

FORT WORTH, Texas – Texas Motor Speedway has reached an agreement with Minnesota motorsports promoter X.CELERATED for 18 nights of sprint car, dirt late model and modified racing this year at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

The exciting schedule includes The Revival in February for dirt modifieds, a NASCAR All-Star Race sprint car companion event in June, a Monday night summer series, and a $50,000-to-win dirt late model extravaganza in September.

“(Working with) the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track is an incredible opportunity,” said X.CELERATED CEO Barry Braun. “Dirt track racers, teams, and fans love this facility and yearn to race at this mecca. We believe our commitment to a robust schedule with grassroots sensibilities and customer service will help this place thrive.”

X.CELERATED, which revitalized the Duel in the Desert at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in November and launched the upcoming March 15-20 Bristol Dirt Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway, has committed to a multi-year strategic business agreement with the half-mile Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

“The Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track has hosted some of the best dirt racing in Texas since its first race in 2000, so we’re proud to be working with Barry Braun and everyone at X.CELERATED to bring local fans a full schedule of competition in 2021,” said Texas Motor Speedway President and General Manager Eddie Gossage.

The 2021 Texas dirt schedule kicks off Feb. 18-20 with “The Revival”.

Outlaw modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Hornets, and Eco Mods will race with complete shows on Friday and Saturday. Tickets go on sale Feb. 1 at https://racexr.com/.

Additional information, including entry and parking, will be released at that time.

The Dirt Track will fire off NASCAR All-Star Weekend with the All Star Sprint Car Showdown, June 10-11, featuring the Bandits Outlaw Sprint Series and supporting classes.

A major commitment for local racers will be take place from June through August with the Texas Monday Series.

Working as a good neighbor by not booking on top of local schedules, the Texas Monday Series seeks to highlight the best of the area with an aggressive production and unprecedented promotion of the series racers.

Open Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, and Factory Stocks will be the regulars highlighted, with a once-a-month invitational class.

The dates for the Texas Monday Series are June 21, June 28, July 5, July 19, July 26, Aug. 9, Aug. 16, and Aug. 23.

The schedule will conclude with a bang as the Texas Dirt Nationals, scheduled for Sept. 13-18, rock the Fort Worth facility. The event will feature a number of grassroots classes and will be capped by a $50,000-to-win dirt late model crown jewel event on Sept. 18.
