Schultz Victorious At Central Missouri

usamap_midwestWARRENSBURG, Mo. – A huge crowd packed the stands at Central Missouri Speedway Saturday night for the track’s official opening night, featuring the USRA Mighty Modifieds, B-Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Pure Stocks.

Terry Schultz battled his way to the modified feature win.

Jason Bodenhamer tumbled several times in turn 3 in heat race one, but he was uninjured in the incident and his crew made repairs in time for him to return for the main event to close out the evening. Schultz and Dean Wille snatched the two heat race wins.

On the opening laps of the modified feature, Schultz led the field into turn one and never looked back in the 25-lap main event.

Back in the field, Trevor Hunt and Dean Wille battled early on with Aaron Marrant in the mix just behind. No one really ever challenged Schultz as he captured the win and the $1,000 payout.

Trevor Hunt was second with Aaron Marrant, Tyler Schmidt and Jim Moody filling out the top five.
