KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Josh Roberts of Union City, Ind., was the grand prize winner of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum’s 2019 Torch Red ZO6 Corvette sweepstakes.
Last Friday, Roberts and his family were in Knoxville to pick up their new car.
“I drive by Eldora Speedway every day on my way to work, and I never dreamed when I entered this contest to help the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum that I would the lucky one to be taking this new Corvette home. Unbelievable,” Roberts said.
“We can’t thank all of those who donated and tried at the sweepstakes enough for all of their support in our seven month project,” added Museum Executive Director Bob Baker. “Everyone stepped up in a big way for our 501(c)(3) non-profit museum foundation. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our museum staff, volunteers, and others who coordinated in our efforts. Everyone’s support truly allows us to continue promoting the future of sprint car racing by preserving its past history.”
