Electric City Gearing Up For Montana Round Up

REAT FALLS, Mont. – More than two dozen sprint car teams from five states have pre-registered to take part in the 26th annual Montana Round Up hosted by Electric City Speedway this weekend.

The three-day event runs Friday through Sunday with hot laps kicking off each night at 7 p.m. Each sprint car A Main pays $1,500 to win.

J.J. Hickle, Devon Borden, Colton Heath, Chance Crum, Reece Goetz, Chase Goetz, Brock Lemley, Garen Linder, Cam Smith and James Setters are among the talented group of racers heading over from the Northwest to face off against the Montana notables, including Trever Kirkland, Rich Bailey and Kory Wermling to name a few.

The Montana Round Up is the only 360ci winged sprint car event at Electric City Speedway this season. The track hosted the Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series a half dozen times with Setters winning five races and the championship. Cody Ryan claimed the other race.

IMCA Modifieds will join the 360 sprint cars all three nights this weekend. WISSOTA Street Stocks (Friday only), WISSOTA Midwest Mods (Saturday only) and WISSOTA Super Stocks (Sunday only) will also compete.

Grandstand seating was limited because of COVID-19 restrictions and has been sold out. However, pit passes remain and there will be a live video stream of all of the action each night via SPEED SPORT TV affiliate www.ElectricCitySpeedway.TV.

The Pay-Per-View price is $20 per night or $49 for the three-night package.
