Wight Wins At Fulton Speedway


FULTON, N.Y. – On Saturday night at Fulton Speedway, the 2014 season finally got under way as Mother Nature took a break. The wait was worth it as fans and competitors were treated to great racing on opening night.

In the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds there was no slowing down Larry Wight as he rode the top of the speedway to the win. Not even a late caution to bunch field up was going to stop Wight, as he won by almost two-seconds over Jimmy Phelps.

Other winners on Tracey Road Equipment Girl Scouts Night were, Greg Martin, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Tim Sears Jr., NAPA Late Models, Wade Chrisman, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, Gordy Button, A-Verdi Storage Containers 305 Sprints and Chuck Powelczyk and Justin Buske won a pair of Hilton’s Automotive Four-Cylinder features.
