Three Claim Grandview Victories


BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. – Long time Late Model standout Mike Kellner was able to drive to victory in the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen 358 Modified feature race earning his first career Modified victory on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

Defending BRC Late Model champion Jason Miller was able to win his second feature of the season taking the top spot in the 25-lap Late Model main event and returning to victory lane in the 25-lap Sportsman feature after a long absence was Brett Kressley.

Duane Howard was able to move a little closer to point leader Jeff Strunk in the chase for the Modified title by finishing second in the feature. Young Mike Laise came home third for his best finish of the season. Veteran campaigner Terry Meitzler finished fourth with point leader Strunk earning a fifth place finish.

Multi-time Late Model champion Chuck Schutz settled for second in the 25-lap BRC Late Model feature while Kory Fleming had another strong effort with a third place finish. Wayne Pfeil came home fourth and Lou Egrie Jr. grabbed fifth.

Popular Kenny Gilmore finished a close second in the 25-lap Sportsman feature followed by Brandon Whitmoyer, young Ryan Lilick and Ryan Beltz.
