HOLLAND, N.Y. – Rookie driver Shawn Nye was the winner of the headlining Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency NASCAR Pro Modifieds on Kwik Fill Night at the Races in front of a huge crowd on hand at the Holland NASCAR Motorsports Complex Saturday.

Brandon Glover won his first NASCAR Late Model feature of the season. Eric Brown won his second Bank of Holland Charger main of 2014. Rookie Timmy Catalano took his second 4 Cylinder Hornet feature of the season. Kyle Hutchinson won his first career Holland triumph in the NYPA TQ Midgets, Darren Lenhardt won his second Future 4’s victory of the season and Jason Adams continued his perfect season as he scored his fifth M&M U Pull-It Figure 8 car victory.

Shawn Nye and Amy Catalano led the Getzoni Nationwide Insurance Agency NASCAR Pro Modifieds to the green flag for their 30 lap main event with Nye moving into the lead. The first 27 circuits went caution-free with Nye pulling away from the battle for second betwee Catalano and Jeff Brown.

Nye would pick up his first career Pro Modified victory by three car lengths as it was a photo finish for second between Catalano and Fiebelkorn. After a video review, officials deemed that Catalano crossed the line in second over Fiebelkorn.

The Troy Williams Racing stable teammates of Bill Osborn and Brandon Glover raced their way into the top two spots at the start of the 20 lap feature for the NASCAR Late Models. Glover would pass Osborn on lap two to move into the lead as past divisional champ Eldon King III returned to the highbanks and took over second from Osborn.

Glover was running a consistent line as he was pulling away from King. JD Roberts spun on the back stretch to bring out the races only caution on lap 13. The restart would see Glover pull away as in the final seven circuits, both leaders were both loose. At the finish, Glover picked up the win over two car lengths. Racing for second, King and Dave Whittaker both spun across the line with King finishing in second and Whittaker finishing in third.

Eric Brown pulled away from Mark Harsch at the start of the Bank of Holland Chargers feature event. The strong field of Chargers was racing hard around the highbanks and contact was made between Tim Welshans and Dave Vona as both slid into the infield being hooked together. Welshans was able to continue racing while Vona finished the main event in the pit area. The restart would see Brown continue to show the way.

Brown would run away and cruise to the victory as he held off Ted Welshans and Rich Carnes.

Veteran racer Butcher Palmer led from the start of the 30 lap feature for the 4-Cylinder Hornets. Just five laps in and past divisional champion Jeff Szafraniec moved into the race lead. On lap six, Chris Powers moved into second with Timmy Catalano moving into third place.

After Ashley Kirchberger suffered mechanical issues in her racer to slow the field down for the third time, Timmy Catalano was able to outrace Powers to earn his second win of the season.

Jim Fleischman was the early race leader in the 20 lap feature event for the NYPA TQ Midgets. Defending Series Champion Kyle Hutchinson squeezed between Fleischman and Charlie DiRosa to move into the race lead on lap two. Jonathan Reid moved into second on lap 15 while in heavy lap traffic. At the checkers, Hutchinson picked up his first career triumph at Holland as he beat Reid by a half a straightaway.
