CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Chuck Hebing and Matt Sheppard shared top honors during the 56thopening night racing program at Land of Legends Raceway.
Hebing picked up $2,000 for winning the 25-lap Patriot Sprint Tour feature on the half-mile dirt track, beating Paulie Cologiovanni to the checkered flag.
Jordan Thomas, Joe Trenca and Jordan Poirier rounded out the top five.
Sheppard rolled to victory in the 35-lap big-block modified main event, outlasting Justin Haers for the checkered flag. Jimmy Phelps, Erick Rudolph and Billy Dunn filled the top five.
Kane Bristol topped the sportsman modified feature and Johnny Kolosek won the 305 sprint car race.
Adam DePuy bested the street stock field.
