SICKLERVILLE, N.J. – Brett Ballard, a B&M Motorsports competitor, will be returning to the big-block odified division in 2014 after securing a deal with Jay Larkin.
“I am very pleased to have a big-block modified in 2014 powered by the engines of Jay Larkin,” said Ballard.
Ballard rejoins the big-block modified ranks after spending the majority of 2013 in the Crate/Sportsman class at Bridgeport (N.J.) Speedway. Larkin, a big-block modified engine supplier for several years to different drivers, is the proprietor of Larkin Automotive Service in Paoli, Pa. Since 1965, Larkin Automotive Service has been serving customers in Paoli and surrounding communities. The full service vehicle repair and tire facility has earned an outstanding reputation for their expertise and fair prices. The power of Larkin’s big-block modified engines is well respected in the pits. In 2008, Larkin’s motors propelled Mike Iles to the Bridgeport Speedway big-block modified title.
“We are looking to have a fun and successful 2014 season. In addition to racing full-time at Bridgeport Speedway, we will be entering some other events as well,” said Ballard, who lists Georgetown Speedway as his favorite race track.
From Friday, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12, the new No. 5B big-block modifiedd driven by Ballard will be on display during the 2014 Motorsports Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. in the Wiz Motorsports Communications booths (Booth numbers 307 and 308).
In addition to Ballard, the B&M Motorsports team includes the Crate/Sportsman cars driven by Matt Budd and Brad Roberts.
