Another Thunder Road Postponement

BARRE, Vt. – Mother Nature won again at Thunder Road Int’l Speedway on Thursday as track officials have postponed NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Night due to a 100 percent chance of rain.

The event has been rescheduled for Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m.

NorthCountry Night will feature a full card of racing action for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, Allen Lumber Street Stocks, and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors. It will also include the completion of the Flying Tiger Casella Waste Systems feature from the previous Friday.

The pits open at 3:30 p.m. and the front gates open at 5:15 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and $25 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). It is also Scout Night at Thunder Road with all scouts in uniform admitted free of charge.
