WINSTON, Mo. — I-35 Speedway has joined the ranks of its sister track, Lakeside Speedway, for United States Racing Ass’n sanctioned racing competition for the 2014 season.

The track will feature USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods, USRA Stock Cars and USRA Hobby Stocks, along with non-sanctioned Grand Nationals and Midwest Lightning Sprints at the three-eighths-mile semi-banked dirt oval.

“We have strived from the beginning of owning this track to improve the facility for the fans and racers, making I-35 Speedway the best Saturday night venue around,” said co-owner Mike Johnson. “We’re very happy with our relationship with USRA, and USRA offers a fantastic insurance policy and higher guaranteed points funds for our drivers.”
