Rain Stops Sandusky County Fair Race

FREMONT, Ohio – Just as cars were being unloaded into the infield, heavy rains struck at Fremont Speedway, forcing the cancellation of the 305 sprint race on opening night of the 167th Sandusky County Fair Tuesday.

Pit passes can be used at any upcoming event during the 2019 season at Fremont Speedway.

The next event at Fremont will be Friday, Sept. 6. Kistler Racing Products Night will feature the battle for the first Kistler Racing Products/All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads Attica Fremont Championship Series Presented by the Baumann Auto Group. The event will feature a $10,000 payday for the 410 sprints.

D.J. Foos currently holds a three point advantage over Buddy Kofoid. It’s also the championship night for the KS Sales & Service AFCS Presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales for the 305 sprints with Jamie Miller holding a 63 point lead over John Ivy in the quest for the $2,500 check.
