MORRIS, Ill. – With late model division qualifying just about over, rains and high winds hit the Grundy County Speedway Friday night, forcing officials to cancel the speedway’s opening stock car racing program of the season.
The Cabin Fever 50 for late models was to highlight the action. Because of flooded grounds, Saturday’s rain date has also been canceled.
Stock car racing is scheduled for the Grundy paved oval for next Saturday evening, July 4.
