PEORIA, Ill. – Bobby Pierce earned a $5,000 payday for winning the Chuck Hamilton Memorial Saturday evening at Peoria Speedway.
The redraw gifted Pierce the pole for the 50-lap DIRTcar-sanctioned event. He lost the lead early in the feature, but he regained the top spot near the halfway point. He would hold the lead the rest of way to pick up the victory.
Billy Drake finished second, followed by Ryan Unzicker, Brian Shirley and Mike Chasteen Jr.
