Five Winners In Jackson IMCA Competition

JACKSON, Minn. – James Slawson, Matt Speckman, Cory Probst, Matthew Looft and Kent Miller were victorious on Wednesday evening when more than 100 entrants competed during Bank Midwest Night at Jackson Motorplex.

It marked each driver’s first win of the season at the four-tenths-mile oval, which has featured 23 different feature winners during 27 A Mains this season.

Slawson capitalized on garnering the pole position for the IMCA A Mods main event. Tyler Limoges placed second with Jay Noteboom charging from 12th to third. Clint Hatlestad finished fourth and Don Gerritsen Jr. rallied from 16th to fifth.

Jeremy Smith, Limoges and Dalton Magers were the heat race winners. Gerritsen Jr. claimed the B Main.

Speckman hustled to the IMCA Stock Cars triumph with Luke Sathoff, Chad Schroeder, Gary Mattison and Zachary Foesch rounding out the top five, respectively.

Speckman and Foesch each won a heat race.

Probst maneuvered from sixth to score the IMCA Hobby Stocks victory. Justin Luinenburg placed second with Ben Peterson third, 15th-starting Greg Sidles fourth and Corey Gronewold fifth.

Trevor Holm, Tyler Pospisil and Drew Barglof won the heat races. D.J. Clinton captured the B Main.

Looft recorded the IMCA Sport Mods win. Troy Gochanour finished second with Dan Paplow third, Justin Klynsma fourth and Dallas Nutt fifth.

Jeff Carter, Cole Nordquist and Looft were the heat race winners.

Miller outlasted Megan Sandvig for the IMCA Sport Compacts triumph. R.J. Esqueda was third with Bubba Brown fourth and Jake Schroeder fifth.

Sandvig won the lone heat race.
