Five Divisions On Tap Saturday At North Central Speedway

BRAINERD, Minn. – North Central Speedway will become the first track in Minnesota to host racing amid the COVID-19 pandemic this weekend.

The track will run a five division show on Saturday featuring IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA sport mods, IMCA hobby stocks and IMCA sport compacts. Saturday’s race will not count towards track points, but will count toward IMCA regional, state and national points.

Drivers and crew are required to register by 5 p.m. Friday. Each car will be allowed up to two crew members not living in the same household. Pit crew that live in the same household are not limited. There can be no more than five people gathered at each trailer at any given time.

Social distancing rules will be in affect throughout the event. Trailers must be parked far enough away from each other in order to maintain social distancing. No group gatherings or socializing will be allowed during the event.

Masks will be required for all participants throughout the event with the exception of the drivers when they are in their race cars. There will be no camping or use of trailers, toters or campers. Only those who pre-register will be allowed on the grounds.
