Ewing Is A Pro In Lincoln Speedway Tussle

LINCOLN, Ill. – Dakota Ewing came out on top of a slide job show to win the DIRTcar Pro Late Model feature that headlined Friday’s action at Lincoln Speedway.

Jose Parga led the early laps of the feature, with Ewing pressuring him until taking the lead on lap five. Parga ran in the top-five before spinning while trying to pass a car in turn one on lap 11 to bring out the caution flag.

When the green waved again it was Ewing and Brandon Eskew battling back in forth and trading slide jobs at the front of the field. Eventually it was Ewing who set sail, pulling away to claim the victory over Eskew.

Jake Little, Tommy Sheppard and Roben Huffman completed the top-five.

In other action, Brian Diveley earned his first triumph of the season in the DIRTcar Modified class, outrunning Mike Brooks to the checkers. Terry Reed won for the second time this season in the DIRTcar Street Stocks while Andy Baugh claimed his third win of the year in the Nutech Seed DII Midget feature. The DIRTcar Hornet feature went to Brady Reed.
