ATTICA, Ohio – Mother Nature isn’t playing nice this spring in North Central Ohio.
Heavy rains through the week with no drying time have forced Attica Raceway Park officials to cancel racing on The Adkins Group/AmeriGas/Craig Miller Trucking Night on May 3.
“We just have had too much rain over the past week,” explained Rex LeJeune, Attica’s Operations Director. “We were hoping for a little more drying time Friday morning through the afternoon, but we received more rain in the morning and the temperatures have dropped and nothing is drying out.”
Attica Raceway Park will host the American Ethanol Late Model Series Friday, May 10 on Stillwater Metal/Bazell Fuel Night. The late model feature winner will take home $4,000.
The Fremont Fence 305 Sprints will battle for $1,000 to win and the dirt trucks will also be in action.
Gates open at 5 p.m., with racing getting underway at 7:45 p.m.
