Stutts Still Hospitalized After Port Royal Crash


PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Sprint car driver T.J. StuttsĀ remains hospitalized at Hershey Medical Center following a sprint car crash at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday evening.

Stutts was trying to pass Steve Buckwalter during the sprint car feature on Saturday at Port Royal when the pair made contact and Stutts flipped in the fourth turn.

Stutts was extricated from the car before being transported Hershey Medical Center, where he remained as of 9 p.m. Sunday

Reached by phone Sunday evening by Port Royal officials, Stutts was in good spirits and under observation while awaiting testing on Monday meant to ascertain the extent of possible back injury.
