Manmiller Earns No. 5 At Grandview

BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. – For the fifth time this season Doug Manmiller was able to wheel to victory in the 30-lap Bernheisel Race Components Night NASCAR Whelen 358 Modified feature race at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night.

Brett Kressley, currently second in the Sportsman standings, was able to drive to victory in the 25-lap Sportsman feature race giving the young racer his fourth victory of the season. Current point leader Randy Stoudt charged to his sixth win of the season taking the victory in the special 30-lap Bernheisel Racing Components Late Model feature race.

Ryan Grim had an impressive run to finish second to Manmiller in the modified feature while Tim Buckwalter, a feature winner earlier in the season, grabbed third. Duane Howard beat Jeff Strunk across the finish line to grab fourth and gain a few points on the current point leader meaning that Howard still has an opportunity to catch Strunk on the final night of point racing next Saturday night as they battle for the lucrative Modified point title.

The 25-lap feature for Sportsman had Brandon Whitmoyer coming home behind winner Kressley while third went to Sean Weiss. Jason Neidlinger grabbed fourth and Mike Lisowski took fifth.

Defending champion Chuck Schutz came home second to Stoudt in the 30-lapper for the late models with sophomore talent Dan Green getting another impressive finish grabbing third. Joe Fanelli earned a strong fourth place finish followed by Sean Merkel.
