Garver Picks Up A Pair At North Florida

LAKE CITY, Fla. – Jason Garver picked up victories in the UMP DIRTcar Modified and Florida Outlaw EMod features on Saturday night at North Florida Speedway.

“It takes a lot of work with all these (crew) guys and keep two cars going and all the changes to do to keep up with the track,” Garver said in Sunoco Race Fuels Victory Lane. “It’s a testimony to how good the people who help us really are.”

Garver drove to a flag-to-flag UMP DIRTcar Modified victory, holding off a charging Wesley Duboise at the end. He and his team followed that up by rolling to victory in the Florida Outlaw EMod feature, beating Brandon Wells.

“It probably gives a little advantage. I kind of know what the track’s going to do and find a line. I was glad to get it at the end. I was going to stick to the bottom and it paid off.”

Chad Scranton, fresh off a recent knee surgery, won the 15-lap thunder stock feature.

Kevin Davis won his second straight C Class/Limited Late Model feature. Robby Hoffman turned the tables on Kenny Brewer in the Florida Outlaw Micro Sprint 10-lap main.

Shannon Lange started on the pole and led all 10 laps of the Box Stock feature.
