Four Claim Features At Grandview

BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. – Veteran Modified talent Kevin Hirthler was able to grab his first win of the season in the WNPV-1440AM Radio 30-lap NASCAR Modified feature on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

Randy Stoudt, the current BRC Late Model point leader, added win number four to his impressive record for the season while Vince Gagliardo Jr. won the Blast from the Past Vintage Racers feature event. Jared Umbenhauer drove to his sixth straight Sportsman feature win and 11th of the season.

Five feature winner Duane Howard almost made it six wins but had to settle for second behind Hirther in the Modified feature. Craig VonDohren grabbed third followed by Doug Manmiller and Kevin Hartnett getting his best finish since joining the Saturday night action at Grandview.

Sean Merkel settled for second behind point leader Stoudt in the BRC Late Model 25-lapper. Chuck Schutz came home third followed by Joe Fanelli with another strong effort and defending champion Jason Miller. The win was worth an extra $100 for Stoudt courtesy of J&H Autmotive.

Recent high school graduate Ryan Lilick had the lead for 15 laps of the 25 lap Sportsman feature before Umbenhauer was able to get by with just two laps remaining and get the win. Lilick followed in second with Joe Funk coming home third followed by young Brett Gilmore and Paul Kline.
