Carlton Claims Arena Accolades

RICHMOND, Va. — Just nine hours after the Commonwealth of Virginia welcomed its new governor, Terry McAuliffe, to office, Arena Racing USA welcomed a new winner to its AmeriGas Top Dog Victory Lane as Cody Carlton led the last 47 laps of the 50-lap event to take the checkered flag in the featured race of Saturday evening’s Hometown Realty 200 at the Richmond Coliseum.

The victory was Carlton’s second of the season, to go along with an A Main win on Nov. 9.

Scott Prillaman finished second with Travis Wall, Tyler Hughes and Dystany Spurlock rounding out the top five.
Tyler Hughes won the Pro Series A main and Francis Jarrelle III topped the B main. Garrett Manes claimed the Youth Series feature.
