LEXINGTON, Neb. – Kyle Berck earned his fourth-straight victory in the Super Late Model Racing Series Sunday evening at Dawson County Raceway.
Berck started in the second row and garnered the lead on the third lap and never looked back in picking up the feature victory.
Starting right next to Berck in the starting grid of the feature was Travis Dickes, as he chased Berck throughout the contest and wasn’t able to advance past the hotshoe and was forced to settle for runner-up honors.
Heat race winner Mike Marushak started in the third row of the feature and was able to get high up on the wheel and drive his way onto the podium in third place overall.
Early leader and pole sitter Steve Kempt is no stranger to Dawson County Raceway and he proved to know the fast way around the three-eighths-mile oval, pacing the field for the first two laps, running high, wide and handsome on the cushion.
Rounding out your top five in the feature event was Bill Leighton, Jr., as he finished fifth overall from his sixth row starting position.
Other Dawson County winners Sunday included David Murray, Jr. (IMCA modifieds), Jesse Sobbing (Northern SportMods), Mike Nichols (IMCA stock cars) and Dillon Thompson (IMCA hobby stocks).
