Bubby Jones
National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Bubby Jones took part in his lone Indianapolis 500 in 1977. He qualified last in the 33-car field and finished 21st after falling out of the race because of a valve problem. He attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis two additional times, but failed to make the field.
