MIDWEST SPRINT CAR SERIES (MSCS)

When the checkers flew on the 11th and final event of the abbreviated Midwest Sprint Car Series season, Chase Stockon was the champion.

Stockon claimed one win, at Bloomington Speedway, but it was Kyle Cummins that topped the series win list, with four checkers.

On September 19, at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., Stan Beadles suffered injuries from a vicious fiery flip, which resulted in hospitalization and intubation, with serious burns on his legs, arms, and face.

Less than a month later, he was in attendance at the series finale at Tri-State and was presented with the Rookie of the Year award.

MIDWEST SPRINT CAR ASSOCIATION (MSA)

Brandon McMullen earned seven wins, earning his fourth Midwest Sprint Car Ass’n championship.

Point runner-up Travis Arenz was the only other driver to achieve multiple feature wins.

Arenz claimed four triumphs with the Wisconsin-based winged 360 sprint series.

MUST SEE RACING SPRINT CAR SERIES (MSRSCS)

Anthony McCune put an end to the five consecutive years of domination by his uncle, Jimmy McCune, by claiming the Must See Racing Sprint Car Series presented by Engine Pro championship.

The two McCunes tied for points, but Anthony‘s sweep of the two-day Must See Speedfest at Wisconsin‘s Golden Sands Speedway gave him the nod based on win total.

Kody Swanson won the season opener, the inaugural Indy Summer Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway, while Bobby Santos III took the win at the Little 500.

Jimmy McCune and two-time series champion Brian Gerster also each claimed one win apiece with the series.

According to MSR President Jim Hanks, the series, which is streamed on SPEED SPORT TV, will undergo a transition for 2021, reformatting to a special-events structure as opposed to a “traditional series or schedule.”

Teenager J.J. Henes took the championship in the inaugural season of the Must See Racing Midwest Lights Series.

NEBRASKA 360 SPRINT SERIES

After contesting seven races in 2020, Seth Brahmer, of Wisner, Nebraska, claimed his first Nebraska 360 Sprint Series championship.

Brahmer had previously posted two runner-up point finishes, in 2016 and 2017. Justin Henderson topped the series win-list with two. No other driver claimed multiple wins.

Post-season, Dennis Parker, who served as president of the series for eight years, resigned.
