The IRA was able to contest 20 events over the 2020 season. Balog was the only driver to earn multiple feature wins.

Balog also topped the Hopf Farms Bullring Showdown championship.

KING OF THE WEST-NARC SPRINTS

Although Bud Kaeding topped the points at the end of 2020, since the NARC King of the West Fujitsu Sprint Car Series was only able to contest four of its scheduled events, the series did not crown a 2020 champion or Rookie of the Year.

Veteran crew chief, chassis builder, and car owner Rodney Tiner was awarded the Billy Albini Mechanic of the Year award.

The award is named after the longtime crew chief for 13-time NARC and King of the West champion Brent Kaeding, who is recognized as the winningest “wrench” in NARC history.

Albini lost his life to cancer in 2019.

KING OF THE WING NATIONAL SPRINT CAR SERIES

The King of the Wing series was unable to compete during the
2020 season.

Weyant also failed to lock into the A through his heat, putting him in the B as well. Both transferred to the A-Main starting near the back of the field.

While Nienhiser found himself caught up in another accident, Weyant earned a top-10 finish, and ended the season as champion by six points.
