Watch Crandon Live On SPEED SPORT TV

CRANDON, Wis. — One of the biggest (and richest) weekends in off-road motorsports takes place in the Northwoods of Wisconsin this weekend at the famed Crandon International Raceway. And through a new partnership with SPEED SPORT, the premiere races will be simulcast LIVE on SPEEDSPORT.tv free.

Events from the 51st annual Polaris Crandon World Championship Off-Road Races will be available on SPEED SPORT TV beginning Saturday night and culminating with Sunday’s fifth annual Crandon World Cup, which pits competitors in the Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes against one another for a whopping $50,000 winner’s prize.

Coverage of the sport’s biggest weekend of closed-circuit off-road racing begins with Saturday (Sept. 5) night’s Ultra 4 event that will be simulcast on SPEED SPORT TV at 7:45 p.m. (CST) and continues with Sunday morning’s Crandon World Championship races for the Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes at 9:45 a.m. (CST). To watch, fans should simply visit SPEEDSPORT.tv and select the event.  Registration is required but there is no charge or subscription required.  SPEEDSPORT.tv is available on computer, iOS or Android mobile devices, Roku or Amazon Fire-connected TV’s.

Those races set the stage for the grand finale, the Crandon World Cup, which will be preceded by the Pro Lite championship race at 2:30 p.m. (CST). SPEED SPORT President and longtime motorsports announcer Ralph Sheheen will serve as the host for Sunday’s coverage of the Crandon Cup.

“When you talk about the biggest motorsports events in the world, Crandon is at the top of the list for closed-circuit off-road racing,” Sheheen said. “I’ve always wanted to experience Crandon in person, and am thrilled to join the very talented broadcast team to help bring all of the tremendous action to race fans around the world through our live broadcast on SPEEDSPORT.tv.”

Crandon Int’l Raceway officials look forward to the partnership with SPEED SPORT.

“For 51 years we have hosted the best off-road racers in the world, and now we are proud to bring world-class short-course racing to the Speed Sport audience” explained Crandon Promotor Marty Fiolka. “Our livesteam coverage will be nothing less than a network television quality production that really starts with our host Ralph Sheheen. All of us at Crandon International Raceway are excited about celebrating Labor Day weekend with the rest of the world.”
